Ofra x NikkiTutorials Highlighter Review

Image
Hi lovelies, Yea turns out I lied again about the affordable makeup. I'm really sorry guys but with all this amazing makeup coming out I just can't help myself from buying the more expensive stuff. Ok I lied again, I bought this in another Beauty Bay sale and I got a whole £9 off (how could I not). As soon as I saw this on NikkiTutorials channel ( this video I believe), I needed to get this highlighter only because I don't want to use all my Sugarpill x Little Twin Stars palette (shameless plug but you can check out that review here ). The Ofra x NikkiTutorials highlighters are available in 2 shades: space baby and cloud 9. I purchased cloud 9 because I prefer a pink tinted highlighter over a silver highlighter (that's space baby). Both highlighters are available on Beauty Bay (see here ) and retail for £25 for 10g. You will get free UK delivery from BeautyBay and my order was delivered within 2 days. As always it was safely packed. The packaging is nice and s

House of Sparklez UK Fine Glitter Review

Image
Hey guys, So I've been looking around the beauty blogging community and decided that I was going to start looking into more affordable products for us all to enjoy. Now I know we all love a bit of glitter and I have a company I love (see very first post) but I've been shopping around and found House of Sparklez UK (www.houseofsparklez.uk) which is a little more affordable. UPDATE NOTE: I have been approached by this company to be a promoter of their brand (exciting times I know) but I PROMISE you this review is my honest opinion and I WILL NOT promote something I don't like or wouldn't use. I have bought these products with my own money in order to test and review them for you before spreading the word (Discount Code at the end). House of Sparklez UK sell a range of cosmetic glitters as well as false eyelashes which look amazing (but I haven't purchased yet so not reviewing). The glitter is sold loose in pots and can be purchased fine or chunky depending on you

Tarte Cosmetics Precious Picks Colour Set Review

Image
Hey guys, Today I thought I'd review a sample set I've just purchased from Tarte Cosmetics (www.tarte.com). Now I am calling it a sample set because I don't know any other way to describe it. The Precious Picks set contains their best selling (travel sized) blush, mascara and lipstick for just £10  (US $10). So I'm calling it a sample set as it's a great way to test out these products without spending a lot of money. Just for a comparison the mascara that comes with this set costs £21 for the full sized product while the blush is £25 and the lipstick is £20. So I honestly think this set is great value if you want to try any of these products especially if you are unsure about purchasing this brand. Tarte do a range of sets like this containing different products which I think is a great idea for new customers. A note here to say that all these products are dermatologist tested and are vegan. The mascara has also been tested by an ophthalmologists tested and

L'Oréal Paris Infallible Pro-Glow Foundation Review

Image
Finally got my hands on this foundation after my first parcel went walkies during delivery (cheers Amazon). However it was reshipped quickly so I cannot fault their customer service 👍. Being in the UK this foundation is sold exclusively on Amazon (www.amazon.co.uk) for £11.99 (30ml of product) and usually their delivery service is excellent. The packaging is nice and simple in a plastic tube making it very useful for travelling and getting all the product out. The foundation comes out of the tube really easily and you don't need much pressure on the tube due to how runny the foundation is. I used the colour swatches on the products images to find my shade picking 202 creamy natural and I have to say it's pretty much my perfect shade. The foundation is described as being medium coverage and I would agree with that. It does apply really thin but it is a buildable foundation so you can layer it up if you need more coverage. Wearing the Pro-Glow on the right hand side (not

Sugarpill Cosmetics xLTS Collection Review

Image
Hey guys, so this week I thought I'd review the bad boy that is Sugarpill Cosmetics x Little Twin Stars Limited Edition Collection. It was only released last month and is a collaboration with Sanrio. Naturally I bought the full collection which did break the bank but I'm so glad I did. You can buy some of this collection individually but not all. This collection as with all Sugarpill products are cruelty free and are vegan.   Being in the UK, I decided to wait on purchasing this product directly from Sugarpill just in case of additional import charges (it does happen UK 😥). Purchasing this directly from Sugarpill is $79 maybe with additional shipping costs but definitely with additional import. I purchased mine through Beauty Bay (www.beautybay.com) which cost £60 with free next day delivery for UK customers. Now on to the product itself. The full collection consists of an eyeshadow palette with 6 shades, 2 liquid lipsticks and a make up bag. When bought together, they

Glitter Lips by Beauty Boulevard Review

Image
So for my first EVER blog review I thought I'd share a product that I've loved for many years. In fact they appeared on Dragons Den looking for an investment they didn't get and so I decided to support this small UK business. Beauty Boulevard (www.beautyblvd.com https://beautyblvd.com/ ) are producing cosmetic lip and face glitters as well as a variety of other beauty products. I haven't had the chance to order or try out some of their other products yet so this review is purely on the glitter lips and the face glitter called Stardust. The Glitter Lips come in a kit for £12.50 or you purchase the glitter pots individually for £6.50. The kit includes your pot of glitter, a gloss bond and a dual applicator packaged in a cute little box. I found it a bit awkward to get the product out of the box as it's such a tight fit but it is easier if you open the box from the bottom. Clear instructions of use are also written on the back of the box which is helpful for the firs
