Ofra x NikkiTutorials Highlighter Review

Image
Hi lovelies, Yea turns out I lied again about the affordable makeup. I'm really sorry guys but with all this amazing makeup coming out I just can't help myself from buying the more expensive stuff. Ok I lied again, I bought this in another Beauty Bay sale and I got a whole £9 off (how could I not). As soon as I saw this on NikkiTutorials channel ( this video I believe), I needed to get this highlighter only because I don't want to use all my Sugarpill x Little Twin Stars palette (shameless plug but you can check out that review here ). The Ofra x NikkiTutorials highlighters are available in 2 shades: space baby and cloud 9. I purchased cloud 9 because I prefer a pink tinted highlighter over a silver highlighter (that's space baby). Both highlighters are available on Beauty Bay (see here ) and retail for £25 for 10g. You will get free UK delivery from BeautyBay and my order was delivered within 2 days. As always it was safely packed. The packaging is nice and s

BirchBox UK October Subscription Review

Image
Hi lovelies, Another subscription box review but I honestly might be cancelling this one because I've not been very impressed so far. The October BirchBox UK came with 6 items this month, 2 of them full sized and the other 4 as samples. I like the design of the box but it's nothing spectacular in all honesty. Plus I haven't seen any more boxes designed by Etsy businesses which is a little disappointing. The first of my products is the Daily Concepts Multi-Functional Charcoal Soap Sponge. For me, this is one the best things in this months box. The sponge on this is quite rough, you really don't need any pressure at all to buff your skin. The charcoal soap smells amazing and when used with the sponge leaves your skin feeling soft and silky. Retails at £6 so I might have to get some another. My second product to try was the amika Soulfood Nourishing Mask. This hair mask smells amazing, is easy to use and easy to wash out. It left my hair feeling super soft after use

Jeffree Star Velour Lip Liners Review

Image
Hi lovelies, Brand NEW product review, I'm talking released last we ek.  Yes I've bought more Jeffree Star and yes I'm going to mention Beauty Bay yet again.  Je ffr ee did do a sneak peek review on his youtube channel about these liners and his new supreme frost range which you can check out here and this is one of the reasons for this purchase. I've always been a waterline eyeliner chick, ALWAYS. But, I've always struggled to find eyeliners that remain on my waterline and not underneath my eye. Turns out, like the velour liquid lipsticks, the lip liners are eye safe and can therefore be used on the waterline. Thanks Jeffree. As always, these were purchased from Beauty Bay (see here ) and retail for £13 each. The lip liners have only been released in certain shades for the launch but they all match with one of the liquid lipsticks. So far, 17 shades have been released with 15 of them currently available on BB. Free UK shipping is available on orders over £15

GlossyBox UK October Subscription Review

Image
Hi lovelies, It's that time of the month again, GlossyBox time. This months box is all about Halloween and they released 2 different designs, a trick and a treat. I got sent the treat edition box, although I'm pretty sure all the products are the same in each. I love the vampy mouth design on the box. Also before I forget, GlossyBox are releasing their FIRST Christmas Advent Calender full of makeup. They go on sale on Monday 15th October and are expected to sell out pretty quickly. They will retail for £99 but it does have a value of £300 and the sneak peeks show products such as Nars and Huda Beauty. Glossies can preorder this NOW with a discount so be sure to sign up if you haven't already. Use my refer a friend code by clicking  here . There's no extra cost but it could save us both pennies. In this months box you get 5 makeup products, 4 of them are full size and the fifth is a deluxe mini skincare product. As always the packaging kept all my products safe du

P.Loiuse Base Review

Image
Hi Lovelies, I'm back with a UK product from a Manchester based makeup academy. If you are following @mmmMitchell on IG, NikkieTutorials on YT or have seen Jeffree Star's video feat mitchell (see here ) then you will be aware of this eye-shadow base. The P.Louise Base has been popping up all over the internet and so I thought I'd give it a try. The P.Louise Base can only be bought on the P.Louise Makeup Academy website (see  here ) and is available in 7 different shades. Each shade is £10 for 15ml of product and delivery to the UK was about £3. My order was delivered within a couple of days and I was kept informed about its progress. I ordered the Base in Shade 1 which is a little pale for me but that's what I prefer. It's not the palest shade by any means as you can purchase a white base. When you've received your order, you get a password that unlocks the video on how to use this product correctly. There are also plenty of amazing tips for getting yo

Jeffree Star Cosmetics Blood Sugar Palette

Image
Hi lovelies, I've been dying to get my hands on some Jeffree Star Cosmetics and this beauty came back to BeautyBay on payday so I couldn't resist. I know I promised more affordable make up reviews and those are coming I promise. The Blood Sugar has already sold out on BeautyBay but you can sign up to receive updates for when it is back in stock (see  here ). The palette retails for £46 which is a huge amount for an eye-shadow palette even for me. You do get 18 shadows for this price and that works out at £2.50 per eyeshadow. Delivery is free thankfully and arrived within a couple of days. As always with BeautyBay the product was well protected during transit. The palette came with an outer sleeve that slides off and contains the Jeffree Star logo on the top and the palette name on the side. All product information is on this outer sleeve which is a shame if you want to get rid of this. The palette itself comes in a red faux leather case with clasps on the front for added s
